The multifocal biopsy is performed under ultrasound control using a special rectal probe on which a biopsy tip with a unique channel for a biopsy needle.

The multifocal biopsy is multiple (up to 12) puncture injections into the prostate using a special needle loaded into a particular biopsy gun. This diagnostic procedure makes it possible to collect tissue from different parts of the prostate gland. All samples obtained are sent for a histological examination performed under a microscope.

The material is taken with a unique disposable needle, which acts quickly, accurately, and does not cause pain. But to relieve tension, as a rule, local anesthesia is still applied. As a result, the procedure runs smoothly and is easily tolerated.

During the puncture of the prostate cyst, local anesthesia is also used. Then, the cyst is punctured, and its contents removed. When cysts reappear, the punch is combined with the introduction of an adhesive solution, which excludes new accumulations of fluid in the corresponding cavity.
